The Harvard Crimson design

The Harvard Crimson is Harvard’s student-run paper and the only daily paper in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Harvard Crimson is the largest collegiate newspaper in the world with 1 million+ monthly impressions. I joined the Harvard Crimson my freshman spring, 2018. In 2019, I served as an Associate Design Editor, responsible for the layout and graphics of the daily paper. In this role, I worked on the team that executed the production of the annual glossy edition of the Crimson’s magazine, Fifteen Minutes. In 2020, I served as Design Chair. As chair, my job is to lead and manage the 30+ person design board, including the news, magazine, arts, illustration, and web design divisions. This includes coordinating and implementing print and online design operations, spearheading recruiting and training initiatives, and organizing social events. Below, you will find samples of my individual designs and major projects that I lead at the Crimson.
